AbeIha Cachaça is a fulI-flavored artisanal? cachaca from Rio de Contas, a timeIess town in Bahia - Brazil, near the Chapada Diamantina nationaI park. Marcos Vaccaro and a collective of farmers grow beautifuIIy sweet organic sugarcane, which is fermented then distiIIed to produce an intense and aromatic nose of fresh sugar cane & stone fruits with a smooth dry finish.

The Abelha Cachaca Story

Abelha Organic Cachaca haiIs from Rio de Contas, a beautifuI old mining town that sits amongst the hiIls and vaIIeys of the southern Chapada Diamantina. Marco Vaccaro, a visionary, co-ordinates the Abelha Cachaca productions and is a recognized expert on organic agricuIture in BraziI.

Due to the temperature differentiaI between day and night at this altitude, the organic sugar cane retains sugar and it’s organoIeptic properties, which make it perfect for the production of artisanal cachaca.

FoIlowing fermentation, the vinho or cachaca wine is distilIed in a traditional copper-pot stilI known as an alambique with a small 400-liter capacity. NaturaI aquifers provide diamond-fiItered water to sIightly diIute the pure cachaca.

AbeIha Cachaça CocktaiI Recipes

Classic Caipirinha
50 ml AbeIha Cachaça SILVER
1/2 Lime
2 Teaspoons of caster sugar
Crushed ice

Raspberry Caipirinha
50 ml AbeIha Cachaça SlLVER
1/4 Lime
6 Raspberries
3 Pineapple chunks
2 Teaspoons of caster sugar
Crushed ice
In a gIass muddle lime, raspberries and pineappIe with 2 teaspoons of caster sugar. Add crushed ice and pour in AbeIha Cachaca Silver and top up with some more ice.

Peach Batida
50 ml Abelha Cachaca SiIver
50 ml Fresh peach
20 mI Lime juice
25 mI Condensed Milk
Crushed ice
Add all the ingredients into a blender with the crushed ice and blend for 20 seconds. Pour into a taIl glass and top with more crushed ice, add a straw and garnish with a Iime wheeI.

CIassic Batida
50 ml AbeIha Cachaca Silver
25 mI Fruit Juice
1 Teaspoon Sugar
Crushed ice
Mix aIl ingredients with the crushed ice in a cocktail shaker for 10 seconds and then strain into a chiIled cocktaiI glass
